How It Works

Five steps. One pipeline.
Content that sounds like you.

Your brand knowledge combined with proven content production practices applied at every stage, from strategy to CMS. Content that sounds like you and performs like it was built by an expert.

1
Brand Setup

Your brand configured
in minutes, not weeks.

Connect your website and Content Conductor does the heavy lifting. It imports your key pages, analyzes your real content, and drafts a structured brand profile — positioning, audience, voice cues — from what you’ve already published.

You review everything the AI extracts, refine what needs refining, set your style rules, and approve your core knowledge documents. The AI proposes; you decide. Every step is editable, every output is yours to confirm before it’s saved.

Content Strategy

Rank on Google.Get cited by AI.
Both, by default.

Content Conductor is built for triple visibility: Google search rankings, Google AI Overviews, and citations from AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. These aren’t three separate strategies. The same content qualities win on all three.

For every priority topic, the platform pulls keyword data, analyzes what’s ranking and what Google is surfacing in AI Overviews, and checks what sources AI tools are citing. Then it builds a content plan designed to compete on all three surfaces at once.

Generation Pipeline

Not a prompt.
A pipeline.

Most AI tools run a single prompt and hand you the result. Content Conductor runs a structured multi-stage pipeline: each stage purpose-built and applied in sequence, with your brand knowledge active throughout.

Built into every article: answer-first paragraphs for AI Overview extraction, standalone-readable facts that AI tools can cite, a dedicated FAQ section, and full schema markup. Triple visibility isn’t a separate task, it’s part of how every piece is built.

Review & Publish

AI-assisted. Not AI-led.
The difference is quality.

AI-led content is what happens when the tool publishes and the human isn’t deeply involved — or worse, not involved at all. The output is technically coherent, generically structured, and immediately recognizable as something a machine made without anyone who knew the brand being involved. That’s slop.

Content Conductor is AI-assisted. The pipeline does the heavy lifting. But every piece is crafted by you and lands in your review queue before it goes anywhere, waiting for the person who knows deeply what the brand should say. You’re the conductor. The platform is the orchestra. The music isn’t finished until you say so.

The Learning Loop

Every edit you make
trains your instrument.

After you edit and approve a piece, Content Conductor analyzes what you changed and proposes updates to your brand’s AI profile: what to do more of, what to stop doing, what you consistently rewrite.

You review and approve every proposed change before anything updates. Nothing changes without your say. Over time, the gap between what the platform produces and what you’d have written narrows significantly. The same credits buy better output, month after month.

AI does not drive the editorial process. Ever. You do. You give input, you review, you adjust, you decide.

Questions about the pipeline

The most common things people ask before they start.

How does Content Conductor optimize for AI tool citations, not just Google?
Content that gets cited by ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity shares specific traits: standalone-readable paragraphs, verifiable factual claims, clear authority signals, and proper schema markup. The pipeline builds all of this in by default — an AI-optimization pass formats key facts as citable standalone sentences, a FAQ section is generated for AI Overview extraction, and Article + FAQPage schema is applied automatically. You don’t have to think about it separately.
Do I need to be a prompt engineer to use Content Conductor?
No. That’s the point. The pipeline is pre-engineered for content production. You load your brand, set your strategy, and direct the output. The prompt engineering is built in. If you want to go deep and customize every step, you can. But the default is “it just works.”
My brand voice is too specific to hand over to AI.
It’s not handed over, it’s loaded in. Your knowledge base, voice rules, and style overrides aren’t guardrails bolted onto generic output; they shape generation from the first word. The more you put in, the more distinctly yours the output is. And through the learning loop the platform refines those rules from your actual edits over time, so the output three months in reflects how you’ve really been editing, not just what you first told it.
How long does brand setup take?
Most brands are fully configured in 30–60 minutes. The 8-step setup wizard walks you through it: connect your website, import key pages, add any context docs, and the AI analyzes your real content to draft a brand profile. You review and refine what it finds, set your style rules (em-dashes, contractions, Oxford comma, structure), and approve your six core knowledge documents. The setup is resumable: start it now, pick it up later.
Do I need a SEMrush subscription to use the keyword tools?
No. Content Conductor’s keyword research and topic clustering are built in, you get the functionality without needing a separate SEMrush account or paying for the keyword tool separately. If you already have a SEMrush subscription, you can connect it to pull your existing data and tracked keywords into the platform. But it’s not a prerequisite.
Which CMS platforms does it support?
Content Conductor stages content to your CMS with schema markup and internal linking applied. Direct CMS integration is included, with more platforms on the roadmap. Content can also be exported in clean HTML or markdown for any platform.
How does the learning loop actually work; what's being updated?
When you edit a generated piece, the platform analyzes patterns in your changes: words you consistently remove, phrases you rewrite, structures you alter. Then it proposes updates to the prompt instructions that shape future generations. You review each proposed change and approve or skip it. Nothing updates automatically. What accumulates over time is a prompt profile that reflects your actual editorial judgment, not just your stated preferences.
